Where is the largest private residence in the world?
Correct answer: Mumbai

Player #7719043, It would have been nicer of he had donated the amount to the poor in India and built a normal sized mansion instead. The wealthy and successful seem to have a desire to broadcast their wealth to the world of wealthy people in an elaborate game of "keeping up with the Jones's ". I wonder if they are happy or simply paranoid somebody will out do them!

unfathomable
Once the kids have a family there will probably be 2 more skyscrapers in Mumbai. Will never understand the need to show off of some people.

Gabilondon72
New money. Tacky mindset
They could leave great without showing off this way. Lot of poor people in India. Share a bit and will leave happier.

Player #2645776
and the saddest thing is that the poorest of the poor live against the house walls ,the outside of course,on the sidewalk 🤬

zumapp
Disgusting display of wealth and I heard they weren’t living there because of some feng shui thing. It overlooks daravi slums made famous in slum dog millionaire. The caste system is alive in India.

probably hoping his legacy would be that of a successful business person...sadly it will be that of a self possessed, ego maniac without empathy or compassion...

paige127
Not to mention the case of starvation, poverty and homelessness. How ironic?

Player #30740230
I don't think the wealthy should just hand out their money to the needy. Give me a fish I will eat for a day, teach me to fish, and I will eat for a lifetime. They should build more schools, and for higher education build trade schools. Then perhaps employ those who qualify.

Player #4047702
I don't understand this lavish lifestyle.

Player #31324588
Lots of comments about not sharing the wealth. How is this different than Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, royal families in most countries...?

Player #92723922
India, with its cruel caste system, the hoardes of poor living on the streets, and dirt everywhere! The amount spent on that huge "mansion" is grotesque.

Player #55741825
In the real world being flamboyant with your wealth when only four people live there is disgusting and India has its fair share of people needing help,I couldn’t live with that guilt

myname
he already donates a lot of money, the thing is that it's not a broadcast of wealth but he has his office, residence temporary staff quarters for 700 staff members in the building as and when required. he has a threat to his life and that's why instead of roaming around with a large security entourage he prefers living in peace stepping out only when really needed.... that's considerable. besides why should he give his hard earned money to the poor? would you give away your money saved for building your house to the poor? the thing is he and his wife both already do a lot of charity...

Akshay
Gabilondon72, I don’t understand why people are bad mouthing someone who has achieved something in life. FYI the family also runs foundations and free hospitals for poor

Smart Kitten
I just don’t understand how people need so much to show off expending money with something they actually don’t need in instead of helping the people who need of basics life things.

Nickie
Seems hard to digest by the west. They think India as a poor country. May be their media potray Indians as such. They may have watched the poor people potrayed in slumdog millionaire but the reality is their earnings are in million dollars annually. They prefer to live life that. Now, talk about Ambani, you never imagine how many people working for his myriad companies and industries. Even his domestic help in Antilia are earning in millions.

Aditi
Apples, tell that to the Prince and queen who live in London in a huge mansion!

Player Moosic, I don't know if it was the Buddha who said that, no matter how rich a man is, he can only take up 6 feet of space while sleeping, and eat a bowl of food at a time. Anything extra is superfluous.

Player #30740230, true that and if any one here had taken any effort to know the works of RELIANCE India( the company owned by Mr. Mukesh Ambani) they would have known how much it has done in order to increase employment, develop affordable housing, internet accessibility, mobile connection etc in India.

It is funny what you learn from reals on Instagram

sab, Earth doesn't need any more population...please... and neither does it need such big houses....
people should just take up as much space ..which is really required.

Atiye
Player #43960807, it's not India.... there are countries where people are living far more worse conditions.... they need more help....
India has survived and will manage on its own.

Roopini
Player Moosic, research before you put these ppl especially Ambanis and Tatas are involved in donating things to poor in India but unfortunately the so called poor ppl take those donations build houses and give for rent to stay in slums again this is true and happening in dharavi largest slum of India
