In Scotland, what are Eigg, Muck, Rum and Canna?

love Scotland but hate the midges !

I used to live in a very remote area of the far Northwest of the Highlands. The midges of the Highlands are atrocious, so much so that when I went out to milk my goat I had to wear a special net over my head. I had tourists at my door in tears with so many bites.

DkRatz72, Now you know, nasty little blighters. I first encountered them on Loch Awe in 1993, very unpleasant experience. I'm off to Ayrshire in 9 days from now, hopefully they don't like salt water habitats.
