In which U.S. state is Yosemite National Park?

tunegrabber, my great grandfather was the last head man of the coastal Miwok. They were a different clan than his, still I didn't know this til many years after visiting Yosemite. We visited the park many, many times while living in the bay area, but stayed in a camp ground only once. It was crowded and noisy and people were not kind to the park. so we used Old Priest Grade to get into the outback. found a great camping place and trails to other parts of the park like Hetch-hetchy and Lake Eleanor with a good part being no people!

One of the best, along with Yellowstone and Sequoia.
