My son has one. Found him at the pound when the dog was a year old. Can’t imagine why he was left at the pound. He’s a beautiful, smart, affectionate animal.

French Poodle is NOT a dog breed. A Poodle is just that, a Poodle although they are found in many countries other than France. In fact, the origin of the name Poodle is more likely from German for "puddle".
