Which country singer recorded two of his best selling albums in a prison?

The man in black was one of my favorites although I'm not a big country fan. I liked old country -Cash,Cline, Lynn,Jennings.

Very brief Jail time yes, (7 misdemeanors equaling 7 nights in jail), but actual prison time, no. The only reason he was in a prison was to perform live for the inmates & as stated above two of these performances were recorded & distributed as live albums.
