Bazsal, It has a different origin from curry, the spicy food. Here curry means "to get ready," and usually refers to grooming a horse.

Player #62086564, You're absolutely correct. Both in the wild and domesticated, horses will groom each other as it forms trust and a bond. The same is said for owners of a horse.

Bazsal, Good question. I've worked with horses for over 30yrs, and I don't know why. Methinks a bit of research is in order.
