I've read it twice it still doesn't make any sense it's just a fairy tale made up to entertain children, that just goes to show how weird some cultures can be..

That doesn’t make sense. All Chinese are raised on the classic tale, “Journey to the West,” featuring the monkey king and pig walking upright. There’s dialogue between those characters and others whom I’ve forgotten.
