Which of these is a diagnostic procedure that is only performed during pregnancy?

I had this procedure for both of my high risk pregnancies, but each time was for a different reason. My older one, now 16, was born early due to complications that affected mostly me, and he was fine, just small, but you wouldn't know that now! Also, my younger one we were told was going to be a girl during the ultrasound, but the DNA in the amnio showed him as being a boy who will be 14 in a couple weeks! Time flies so fast!

Miki, my wife was offered this procedure because she was older (late 30ties) and we refused. today our son is a Healthy young man , there are inherit risk with this procedure.

I had to have one with my 2nd son due to I would be 36 when he was due.
