I believe as of now they are competing with another building to be the tallest. They had to add a rod on top to stay tallest.

I studied abroad in Dubai my senior year of college and we visited the visitor’s deck at the Burj Khalifa. Everyone always says “pictures don’t do it justice” and FOR REAL, pictures do NOT do it justice. That trip was a once in a lifetime experience. Thinking about it is bringing me happy tears right now lol. I hope I visit again someday.
