wouldn't it be great today if our leaders, before they declared war, actually led the military instead of having security around themselves 24/7 while they send others to fight and die. I guess they are just too important to be in harm's way.

CharlieHustle, A leader does require security today and can't be leading in battle, but they should have at least SOME military service behind them. They would then be able to empathize and understand.
