Can highly recommend the Foundation Trilogy, absolutely brilliant and, written in the early 50s, was way before its time, before sci-fi was really a widespread genre in literature or film.

John W Campbell wrote the story that was made into the movie “The Thing,” scariest movie I can remember from when I was a kid.

baymax,
I believe Elijah Bailey and Hari Sheldon are both Asimov characters . Hari Sheldon is the founder of The Foundation , the subject of the trilogy .
I think John W Campbell is the editor publisher of an early SciFi magazine ( Amazing Stories(?)) where Asimov and many of the Science Fiction greats first appeared.

never heard of Hari Sheldon, so I guessed and got it right
