Why were begonias used for this question? Couldn't anyone find an image of poppies?! :-)

Every Remembrance Day, November 11th, poppies bloom on lapels everywhere. My father was Mennonite, so he could have claimed his pacifist religion as a reason not to fight. But, he chose to serve Canada in WWII along with his brother. I am very proud of him.
