Which of these is a medical condition in which poor blood flow to the brain results in cell death?

Had a stroke at age 49 caused by extremely high blood pressure. Subdural hematoma and subarachnoid hemorrhage, ICU for 3 days and 4 more in recovery. Had to relearn how to take a shower, stared at my computer for days trying to remember how to work it. Doc told me I was lucky to be alive with that much bleeding in the brain. The very reason I play puzzle and trivia games such as this on a daily basis to retrain my brain and stay sharp. This game is the best one! Oh yes, and I love reading all of your comments, luckily I did not lose my sense of humor!

At first sign of a stroke act fast time is everything for your survival and recovery. God bless you

strangiato65, I had a stroke at 59 with exactly the same symptoms. I had to re-learn how to work the shower, my computer, my ability to speak. It was frightening. I also play brain games to sharpen my mind.

My Dad had a fatal stroke.....

Had 2 mini strokes within 8 months of each other. The mental ones are terrifying. Couldn't sign my name for a week because I couldn't remember how to write the letters, had to THINK about how to get dressed, could read but couldn't write, could spell words out loud but couldn't text. Very scary!
