Is this dog modeled after an egg or can you name the breed?

It's actually an English bull terrier.

* Seshati *, They are English Bull Terriers and have been used to cross breed for dogs used to hunt pigs (they do not have enough stamina or intelligence for a long chase but will not let go if they have latched. If excited their very powerful jaws will lock and it takes quite a time before they can regain enough control to release as my right thumb can testify -one of mine accidently bit down when I was trying to clean his teeth and we had to sit for 5 minutes before he relaxed enough to release) Originally bred, as the name implies,to bait bulls and bears and as fighting dogs , most of the aggression has been bred out leaving a lovely if somewhat dumb dog.

I dunno why but I seem to remember hearing them named pig dog as a kid.

I can tell almost any dog out there!! i watch The American Kennel Club, every year, the AKC.
