The Sphinx moth looks a lot like the Hawk moth. The orchid is amazing I never heard of it.

Privileged to see it once in the Everglades National Park when our son and his wife were Rangers there. Read ‘The Orchid Thief’ by Susan Orlean. It’s a fascinating account of orchids and how obsessed people become with them. There is a movie based on the book and, although, well done, it contains a good deal of fiction.
