As of 2020, how many planets, including dwarf planets, are known to exist in the solar system?

ProudCanadian, There are, I think, four criteria for a, non-dwarf, planet. Pluto does not clear it's orbit of debris. So fails. Others are, gravity strong enough to form a spherical shape. Maybe a size thing? Maybe an orbital shape. Pluto's orbit is very elliptical and off plane with the main solar system plane.

Pluto I guess was relegated or downgraded for reason best known to scientist.
