Which part of the human body could pheochromocytoma affect?

My husband developed one many years ago. Being stoic, he waited until he was in crippling pain before he had it checked out. His BP was sky high & they took 3 full months to reduce it to a level where he wouldn't stroke out. Eight and a half hours of surgery later, he was out of danger. His cytoma was written up in the JAMA and with his permission, chunks of it were distributed to various medical schools: Yale, Harvard and several others.
