A person has the right to exit the world without pain.. as he suffers, so does his family and friends. If there really isn't any hope for recovery then the person is occupying an hospital bed more useful for a person with better chance at recovery.

I don't know if they will ever pass an assisted suicide act for terminally ill patients, but I was a hospice nurse for two years and I am a big supporter of hospice and palliative care.

Thank goodness this is now legal in Canada. Look up "Dying With Dignity" or "The Rite to Die Society". Then look up M.A.I.D. (Medical Assistance In Dying)the government side of it. Thankfully this helped my Mom on her way. A beautiful and peaceful way to go.
