On the Sistine Chapel's ceiling, Adam's finger is reaching toward whose finger?

There is a full copy of the Sistine chapel ceiling in a chapel in Goring West Sussex, for those in the UK who want to see it, but can't get to the original one. Both are amazing art works.

Coo, In 1979, I underwent a pituitary brain surgery to remove a tumor. During that surgery, I died 3 times. The things I can tell you about God is he has brown hair, olive skin, and the most incredible, deepest, bluest, eyes you have ever seen or will see again. And they twinkle when he smiles or laughs. All the time I was at the waypoint He never opened His mouth. It was all telepathy. I mean, He’s God!

My son painted this exact part of the Creation of Adam on one of the walls (I have a vaulted ceiling) in my den during his high school years. It is amazing! I can only imagine its magnificence at the chapel!!

In the full scale painting God is contained within a human brain. Not sure what Michelangelo intended with this.
