Which is the cause of measles?

I had measles when I was five years old, that's over 52 years ago now. My bed was brought downstairs and the curtains kept closed even in daylight. Measles can cause blindness and brain damage and is quite serious. I remember being waited on hand and foot with regular drinks of Ribena and Lucozade, jigsaws, magazines and luckily had no lasting effects.

Kat, i had measles at a later age,i remember i was in my 20s i felt fever inside my body,i also had mumps and it made me suffer a lot at age ,,,,in my 20s too.i had high fever 4x a day for 4days so 16times of high fever on and off.those were the two deseases i had late in my childhood that made me suffer a lot.
