you fail to mention the THREE operas of the Faust legend. One of the best interpreters in the world of Mephistofeles (Devil) was basso Justino Diaz from Puerto. He opened the present. Metropolitan Opera House (The Met) with the great Black soprano Leontyne Price, the first of her race to sing at the Met. Both are now retired after superb international careers. More later🎇🎆
