... & hair soooo hmm those that answered hair weren’t wrong technically. Although prob were called something else I guess. My source well Horrible Histories of course lol oh I love that show such a great entertaining & informing show. Oh my gosh so many vile stories of the past, one is that the paint they wore on their face was high in lead content so they got all sorts of horrid marks & the artificial beauty spots were an attempt to cover them up. They also had a fair amount of head lice so usually would were wigs set with powder. Usually purchased from the peasantry class. Oh such grand times lol! Love the look but prob wouldn’t want to wear their clothing with all the constricting layers & corsets.
