The Florence Nightingale Museum is in which city?

I’m pleased to see that recent commentators who were nowhere near the Crimea have denigrated her achievements. As a 21st Century commentator that’s what they must do .Never allow anyone credit for achievement that they will never match . She was there for the wounded at the time . ‘Nuff said.

Her doctrine was sterility,a belief that is upheld through out the world and on which the NHS strives to uphold today,she upheld the principle that unsanitary conditions were the primary reason for infection above the original medical emergency,as #25874027 said “nuff said “

I’m keenly aware Florence Nightingale knew exactly what the problems were in Crimea and put forth an EFFORT to change things for the better War torn or not she was Never given the accolades she rightfully deserved because of the lack of respect for WOMEN!!

Truly an iconic character who changed the NURSING idea for the ages!!

She was called the Lady with the lamparina because of her visits to check out the patients in the night. Also she was the one who teaches every nurse and also doctors to Washing their hands before handling care of wounded soldiers at war.

Hearsay from my youth was that she worked with a group of nuns caring for soldiers wounded in the Crimeran War and that she observed from them the importance of cleanliness.
