Goodboy, I would recommend that you read Berlin Solstice by Sylvia Fraser. It is an excellent piece of historical fiction that covers the years in Germany post WWI to the end of WWII. In short, it was the Treaty of Versailles that angered enough Germans to be persuaded to the ways of Adolf Hitler.
