What was the highest grossing film worldwide in 1989?

I knew this movie came out in 1989 and made a fortune at the box office, so I figured I had a good shot at being right.

That and "Raiders of the Lost Ark" are my favorite Indiana Jones' movies! 👌 😍 🙌

Batman was clearly #1 in USA. I prefer such questions where there is a standout winner, not just by 10% if you look at it from the right angle.
