Yah0odee, yes it is but truly there’s so so many it makes my blood boil to a certain degree that is that this moment in history is mentioned again & again... yes horrible yes there’s no denying that, lest we forget indeed but I have heard that the nazi regime killed less than Stalin but we don’t hear his regime mentioned half as much & Mao killed approximately 50-70 million, but again we don’t hear it mentioned nearly enough I could go & on all over the globe throughout the 20th century alone there was horrendous acts worldwide committed by horrible regimes. Hey Im not a historian by any means & not discounting what facts have been uncovered by the nazi parties acts of violence & genocide. For me, it’s just it gets my goat that we remember some atrocities over others when they are all horrible moments in human history, in my opinion we need to always remember & strive to be better human beings to one another. Lol unlikely I know one can wish & hope :D

We should never forget the past. That is why we study history. But the history I was taught in the USA is wrong. when it comes to racism. It has been happening for years. Alot of white people never realized it until lately. What Hitler and Stalin did was evil. We should never forget. We need to start caring for one another. Be the good Samaritan. No matter where we come from. Or who we are. Then statues of good people should remain stand lest we forget.

My bff's mother was one of those people lined up by the Danube, day after day. Long story but she was saved by a hair from being shot in the head bc of a sudden change of plans. She's was 6 at the time

Hitler wanted to make the world judenrein-free of Jews. No other group was slated for extinction so comments regarding other groups are sad but not comparable.
