When I made these at the beach bar I worked at in San Juan, I liked to add a splash or two of Grand Marnier just to kick things up a bit. Everyone seemed to like them.

Purple Kitty, Yes. Was there and that's what they say. Going to beach there are stands that hack open coconut and pineapple and add the local rum, was never a fan, but this was amazing. #rumheadache
