My late Tatay (Dad) answered this to one of the questions in TV's Battle of the Brains way back in 1980s. He was a wide reader. ☺️ All of us in the family knew about this lake from him. Lake Titicaca always reminds us of Dad. ❤️

I visited Lake Titicaca in the early 70s. Los Uros indigenous people who live on islands and houses made of reeds that they build to live on the lake. Extraordinary
