A hit song by the Doobie Brothers is "Listen to the....what"?

Should have been inducted into the Rock and Roll HoF a LONG time ago. They can do it all - Hard Rock? "China Grove", "Without You". Soft Rock?"Another Park, Another Sunday", Ballads? "Far From Home", Country? "South City Midnight Lady". 'Nuff said.

I’ve seen the Doobies in concert every year for the last 39 years (sometimes more than once a year). Our 7 year old grandson has seen them twice. He loves their music. Great guys & great talent!

williambuell590....You talking about that sleepy little town down around San Antone? The people of that town are strange. LOL. I love that song, although the beginning chimes of Black Water always transports me back in time to when I was a kid first hearing the song here in Texas.

My Mother loved Blackwater and so did I. The Doobie Brothers literally defined the seventies, they were on almost every radio station then.

I saw the Doobie Brothers live, in 1977 in Oakland, CA with Fleetwood Mac and Gary Wright. The concert was called "a day on the green" as it was performed on the baseball field. A "Doobie" was a term used for a marijuana cigarette in the 70's & 80's!
