Trigger was Olivia DeHaviland's ride in The Adventures of Robin Hood before Rogers bought him.

While on a road trip we happened upon the Roy Rogers Museum. Trigger, the dog, Bullet were stuffed and on display. Also had the jeep Nellybell. I believe the museum has since closed.

I saw Roy Rogers, Dale Evans and Trigger at the Houston Fatstock show (forerunner to the Rodeo). I was about 6-7. After performing a couple of rope tricks and singing a bit, they rode around the small arena. We got close enough to see them well.

I'm not how many people know this but I do because of living in the high desert in California that Roy and Dale's main house was in apple valley California and it's shaped like a horse shoe and the Roy Rogers museum was originally in Victorville CA.
