MY LATE MOTHER LOVED THAT MUSICAL & WHEN OUR FAMILY WENT TO SALZBURG SHE DANCED THROUGH THE HILLS & HAD A GREAT TIME!

This is one of my lifelong favorite movies. When I was a little girl, I wanted to BE Julie Andrews. I knew all the words to all her songs, English accent and all. Just singing with her and her reported five-octive range taught me a great deal about breathing and timing. A note of interest (at least to me): The Sound of Music is Seth MacFarlane's favorite movie. He likes to sing along, too.
