There was a great little restaurant in the 70's & 80's in Redondo Beach, CA, called "Van's Belgian Waffles and Crepes". There was always a long line to get in, on Saturday & Sunday. The crepes were the best I've ever had, and am still searching to find any that will come close to being as good as those. The owner eventually only sold frozen waffles you could buy at the grocery store.
