Instead of buying Girl Scout cookies I make a donation to the local organization. That way they get 100 percent of the money rather than a couple of pennies on the dollar. However, I really do like the thin mints.

I hope that more of the money goes to Girl Scout Activities. The Girl Scout Council job are over a hundred thousand a year and there are many of them. Activities need not to be at the expense of the parents
