Where can you find quark in the grocery store?

unfortunately deep space 9 wasn't an option!

I often use Quark to make a cream sauce in place of actual cream. I'd not eat it on it's own as it has a very strong tangey taste!!

Portia, in the past it has been a poor mans dish. My kids like it, but we mix it with cream. Put some salt, black pepper and chive in it, and you have delicious "Frühlingsquark". (Frühling = spring) It is one of the favourite dishes of my kids.

But it pronounced like kvark

I have never heard of it before and I thought I was pretty well up on cheeses! But what a shame if they starting to make a naturally vegetarian one no longer fit to eat
