SniperBrainiac30039, Not quite. I'm English and can use metric or imperial. I buy petrol by the litre, and calculate miles per gallon. I weigh myself in pounds or kilos, depending on how I feel. I measure in feet/inches or cm's/metres. Imperial is still used in the UK.

Except that a pint isn’t a pond the world around. In the UK a pint is 20 fluid oz, not 16. So a UK pint weighs more than 1lb.
