What US State is known as the Empire State?

That is easy bc in NY there is a place called Empire State Building

I lived in (barely) upstate NY….Poughkeepsie for 9 years. I would take the train to Grand Central Station to visit The City. So much fun, so different from the rest of NY State, but expensive for sure. I was glad I didn’t live in The City, but very happy to be close enough to experience it. NYC is indeed crazy, but it has its own unique beauty with so much to offer. I loved being a part of it when I lived in New York.

My husband was born there but he says that place is not good. He is going to stay as far away from it as possible..

I was born in Brooklyn. lived there for 12 years and moved to california.such a difference. it took me a while to get used to it. haven't been back since 1967. everything changed. I was disappointed. I remember coney Island which wasn't there.

Born there at Belmont race track. Lived on Brooklyn, Rego Park, and The Bronx. Now in FL, but it's still home no matter where I am
