In which US state will you find London Bridge?
Correct answer: Arizona

fran
Jim Sonnett , True, it's not that remote, just a long drive (4-5 hrs) from most of the populated areas of SoCal. A group called the Society for Creative Anachronism was invited to the bridge dedication. They sent buses for us and gave us a few rooms.

Jim Sonnett , I actually live in Lake Havasu City, and the bridge brings many to see it, walking the steps is a real work out

Moray
Cookie Bean, Aww, please don't be dismayed! No one in London wanted to pay 2.46 million for the blocks. Sounds like a good deal to me, for all parties! We pay our respects each time we pass it.

Moray
Jim Sonnett , I've passed through, many times, on the road from Yuma AZ. to Nevada. it's really not that remote.

I’ve been there! There is also an old red London phone booth.

Player Say what!?

Jim Sonnett , I have. I lived in Vegas when it opened. Bugged my parents until they took me. I've been an Anglophile all my life so you bet I had to see it! lol

Jim Sonnett , I’ve lived in southern Arizona for over 50 years, but have never been to Lake Havasu. It’s often listed as the hottest place in the nation during summer, so it hasn’t been on my to do list. Got great photos of the current London Bridge, in 2023. Tower Bridge was my favorite, though.

In 1985 I hitchhiked out west from Georgia and went to Lake Havasu. Beautiful place, nice bridge.
