In which year did soprano Maria Callas die?

I read that she slipped on soap in the shower while practising an upcoming vocal, hit her head, and died several days later. So very sad. 😯

Maria Callas was very jealous of Jackie Kennedy. Callas was Aristotle Onassis' lover until Kennedy came into the picture. Callas fully expected to marry Onassis but dumped her for Kennedy. Kennedy & Onassis married in the late 1960s.

A radio announcer said she was a wonderful singer without a great voice.
