I went there about 20 yrs ago and it was being restored somewhat..the guide at the beginning of the tour told us not to remove any stones as they may be needed..when she turned round to carry on with the tour, the whole group of about 20 of us in union bent down and picked up a small rock. I've often wondered if they get some stones spread at the beginning of the tour every day knowing this happens 😁
