Which country has a state called Tabasco?

I went to the Tabasco factory on the beautiful Avery Island. In the plant you're allowed only into a room where you can see employees stirring batches by hand while wearing ventilating masks. I believe they stir and stir each batch for 6 months!

I love different kinds of sauces made with chili peppers. Tobasco is one of my favorites.
