In addition to food museum mentioned here, Vevey is also home to one of the world's largest food conglomerates, Nestlé. Mr. Nestlé, the founder of the company, is the inventor of powdered milk and chocolate bars (before him, chocolate was only known as a warm drink)

Player #26845113, mr. Nestlé also is responsible for baby formula, baby formula they try to give to the people that live on the continent of Africa in poor areas, the problem is those poor areas also have limited water resources. Baby formula needs to be mixed with water, so what water was available was used to even further dilute baby formula causing worse health issues in infants then existed prior to Nestlé baby formula.
This is the problem when outsiders try to solve the problem of others without realizing the actual situation and speaking to the people who have the problem. Trust me I’m from deep pockets or the government and I’m here to help only to end up doing more damage.

Elenora
Qatwalk, you're absolutely right
I'm not good at scatching and normal at drawing while my friend likes Arts as she's good at both

The Fête des Vignerons has been held in Vevey "once a generation" since 1797. It celebrates winemaking. There are lots of wine cellars & a wonderful performance outside that shows the story of wine making. In 1977 there were hundreds of players including a large choir, solo singers, dancers, animals & farm equipment. One or the best experiences of my life.

Player #26845113, Do not buy anything with this man's name on it-they steal water from local facilities, leaving people with no water-b'st'ds.
