What now stands on the site where the Great Chicago Fire started?

my God,,,I pray that never happens again,,i feel for the people who live out west in the dry fire prone areas,, has been really destructive lately.

Did it really take 90 years to build the fire academy to ensure the 1871 fire didn't happen again?
