Who was the host of the children's show "Reading Rainbow"?

My daughter grew up on "Reading Rainbow". LeVar Burton was a great host and helped encourage her interest in reading.

I'm watching Star Trek Next Gen now. Love LeVar.

I grew up with Reading Rainbow!!! It came out when I was a couple of months old. But I have older sister and brothers, so it was always on. I have introduced Reading Rainbow to my own kids through YouTube and they love it just as much as I still do!! ❤️ ❤️
