What is the main ingredient in modern “mincemeat” pie?

They are usually eaten around Christmas in the UK.

My brother loved mincemeat pies at Thanksgiving. Mom would doctor the fruit with brandy and rum (my Dad's, 151 Lemonhart Jamaican Rum) my sister would make the crust, it became a family project, but no meat or suet, just the fruit mix by Nonesuch. hmmmm maybe I should start stewing the fruit now, for this year's Thanksgiving dinner dessert.
