I ,for one am very glad they were created .A little touch of a holiday ( and other meals) when your preparing a quick meal for only one busy person.( I like the turkey best )

Uh, not as nice and sweet as the story says in reality. In a docu-series on the History channel about how companies got their start, it was the CEO who started the TV dinners and he was ruthless. He instructed his salesmen to buy every single chicken in the entire state of Nebraska to keep any competitors away. Ended up with so many chickens, he had to slaughter most and store the tons in train cars.
