What is the gland responsible for the production of melatonin?

I take melatonin every night to modulate my sleep. it works for me. zzzzz

We have an autistic grandson who takes melatonin each night to help him sleep. It works well for him.

Lucybird, Mine has melatonin, valerian, and catnip. Started using the valerian and catnip because of a friend on the commune. Then I saw a store bought sleep aid with melatonin add to the others. Sweet dreams and very little pain.

Both my sister and I get nightmares from even small amounts of melatonin. I take valerian root to help me sleep.
