ChaRiel, I find it very difficult to understand the cultural ways of the world, especially something as sickening as this, and to have spectators watching too, all in the name of honor

Cozzy 25,
I don’t care about honour which is gotten by this repulsive practice. How can you possibly back this up, rayvan? 😡

If only everyone in the world held honor above all things.

It's amazing how grotesque punishments have been throughout the world but I'm sickened by spectators who show up and gawk at heads on fences, burnings of people hanging in trees, drawing and quartering, stonings... sometimes, humanity isn't humane.

Player #32567393, There is no shame in restoring one's honor, no matter what the cost, including Harakiri. There is absolutely nothing wrong with choosing to do with your life as you wish. I am choosing right, wrong or indifferent to my own life, are you not? If so, sorry to hear that. No one has the "Authority" to "Judge" any one for anything even if you have been socially conditioned to do so, except one's self.

Cookie Bean, "Shogun" (1980) is fantastic. Wonderful film.

Those who were fortunate or unfortunate enough to have performed this ritual has my full respect. I find needles a little hard to take
