The Outback is the partially uninhabited and mostly arid area of which country?
Correct answer: Australia

I had an Aussie friend tell me once, "A few folks live out there, but they don't much like people."
TurtleRox
My old Aussie roommate and I went on a camping trip in the Outback. No tents and we slept in swags. Very few "comforts" out there. Saw very big snake holes but thankfully no snakes. Swam in a little swimming hole and ate kangaroo. It was amazing and I would do it again if I were 30 years younger!

QuizzMan, funny thing the reason why there's not that many people there is because they have dangerous and venomous spiders and such LOL
