One of the great ones. We need more like him.

Jesse David jr.
I love him in the film "Dirty Dozen".

RedSeaDiver
I remember him reaching the No 1 spot in the uk music charts with his song from the film "Paint Your Wagon" called, "I was born under a wanderin' star".

Ruby Woo
He was fabulous in Cat Balou, but IMO even better in The Big Red One, a story of the Army's 1st Cavalry division, which also features a fine performance by Mark Hamill.

EricHahnNo1
loved him with John Wayne in Donavan's Reef.

Fifi Sam
Jesse David jr., Say that again; he was superb in Dirty Dozen. A no nonsense soldier,

RedSeaDiver, My Dad had a wonderful voice and used to sing that song with gusto...including whilst watering our front lawn. We also watched Lee Marvin movies together....'Cat Balou' was our fave.
My Dad died when I was young so these memories like this q and the kind comments about Lee Marvin are bitter sweet...but more sweet.
STRIP Lee and Dad ❤

Iain
No other actor like him

Ken
RedSeaDive, an excellent song, great lyrics, and I don't know who could have sung it better.
