What type of animal is a Russian Blue?

wow A most beautiful cat,,love them but my favorite is the Siamese,,had a wonderful, smart ,loving one named Jade,,i got her from the animal shelter in my home town, she is gone now and i really miss her,,

sounds like a beautiful cat,would love to have one.

Not just an exceptional colouring but great natured as well.
